Make Hay can help you craft an integrated and flexible marketing strategy. We have experience in developing and designing marketing materials, corporate identities (logos) and taglines to initiate and maintain brand development.

Bruce Telecom (formerly BMTS/BMI Internet)

With competition rules changing, independent telephone company Bruce Municipal Telephone System (BMTS) decided to market its sister company, BMTS Internet Service, beyond its traditional telephone monopoly service area. Make Hay Communications began a relationship with BMTS at this time, assisting them with a full range of marketing support services as they expanded into a competitive marketplace. We developed a new name and logo for the Internet provider, 'BMI Internet' and the tagline - Local Service for Global Access™ and later the BMTS/BMI Plus combined logo and slogan - Connecting with Your World.™

Make Hay assisted this client with the launch of BMTS Long Distance Telephone Service. Make Hay wrote the creative brief that directed our own creative development and which was used by other agencies (radio and print) to guide their creative. We developed the creative concept for the campaign — 'Long Distance Just Got Closer' — and rolled this out in a variety of print applications, including newspaper ads, direct mail, brochures, posters, bill stuffers.

Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA)

Working with the senior management team, Make Hay provides communications planning, strategy development and marketing communications for MHA. In the last year, we have worked with the MHA to develop a strong and consistent brand identity which is reinforced internally and with external stakeholders. This included a new web site - design and content - which we now maintain with onsite support.

Make Hay also produces marketing communication tools for the two sites of this organization - designing and writing a range of brochures, the staff newsletter, an annual community report, plus recruitment materials and trade show displays. Make Hay consults with senior management and the Board of Directors regarding communications strategy and issues management, for example working with the Infection control Manager to develop a Communications Plan for in-house Pandemic Planning activities. And, Make Hay Communications has expanded and refined the media relations activities at MHA, enhancing media opportunities and writing media releases, and speaking notes for Board members and senior managers.
